Trout Season
Tomorrow is the first day of trout season. The weather is going to be perfect, but unfortunately that’s about it! The streams and reservoirs are all high. The water temperatures are still pretty cold, and available bait is crap, so don’t expect too much this first week. We are looking at three or four good days of warm weather, so maybe by Easter Sunday things will look a little more promising.

I am throwing in this link to the county stock list for New York. I am wondering if they will delay the stocking because of the conditions, or maybe stock the fish in the high water to allow the fish to spread out downstream?
